  1. How long hv they been in the water? What kind of filtration do u hv? Sponge? How often do u change water? Is your tank near a window? Are u overfeeding them?

So many variables! More questions than answers b4 i can provide u with a possible solution.

Anyway, 3 Discus (size?) in a 25 g tank ~ too few IMO. Are they feeding well? Shy? Hiding in a corner?

    3 Ds r OK if 4 - 5" in size. If yours r smaller, may i suggest u add another 3.

  2. It means the ammonia isn't been taken away which can cause ammonia poisoning and eventually death.

  3. Depends what is causing the cloudyness

If it's an algae bloom from excess light, then it wont directly harm the fish.

Likewsie a diatom bloom from excess nutrients (silica) coming in from water changes is only a cosmetic problem.

But a bacteria bloom caused by free ammonia in the tank is bad thing, especially for discus.

Get some water tests done, then you will have some more clues what you are dealing with.
