  1. Bend your knees if you want to keep the ball low.

  2. I wish I could, but I have no idea what your backhand looks like or what it even is! Do you have a two hander? If so, remember that the power and overall success of a two hander relies on your LEFT arm, not your right! Remember to go through the ball, lifting it up just enough to go over the net.

If you have a one hander, it will be very specific and I really can't offer any advice at the moment

Do you have a coach? If so, ask them what's wrong. In fact, you could get just about anybody and ask them to watch your swing to see if they see anything weird (Of course, getting someone who actually plays tennis is best for that).

  3. Hello!  Two-handed backhand is easier to learn and provides more power then the one-handed backhand.  I think the main thing with backhand is positioning yourself.  Stand sideways when you hit a backhand (in a position where one of your shoulders points at the net).  Follow through.  From down to up, and over your opposite shoulder.  I might not be very clear, so go to this website.  It helped me a lot.  After you have learned the technique, then practice, practice, and practice.

    Thanks

  4. Odds are you are using a 2 handed backhand. If you take away your right hand while hitting your 2 handed backhand, it should resemble a left handed forehand which it essentially is. The right hand is there to provide support and stability. Start your motion by dropping your racquet head down and back. Step up and over with your right foot while swinging up and through the ball. Follow through to your opposite shoulder.

  5. Uh, elaborate please.

What is wrong with your backhand?

If it isn't going where you like it, try having the racquet face perpendicular to the ground when you swing, and follow through afterwards, and step in.

If you use one-handed backhands, try using two because two-handed backhands provide more control
