  1. Becky has really great suggestions..

but let me add this..do a little something for yourself,

buy him a chocolate birthday cake (minus candles of course)

set it down in front of him and make sure you have your  camera ready.

    Priceless

  2. Since your time with your child is most priceless, why not get a membership to a local children's museum? On hot days, it's a great place to go and get out of the house, and there are so many fun things to do together you'll never feel like you are running out of ideas. He'll be learning and growing so much over this year it'll be great to watch him explore and develop, too.

  3. Toys and more. Check out this kids store. You will find good kids gift items

  4. a trike

  5. Peek-a-blocks. My son is 2.. and he has been playing with them since he was 9 months old. He loves them. They are those see-through blocks with little animals, trucks, etc.. inside them. I think they are made by Fisher Price.

  6. Try the busy ball popper by fisher price.  i got this for my daughter and she still plays with it now even tho she's four!  I've had loads of other parents ask where i got it from as all kids seem to love it!  hours of fun!

  7. Books

Anything that makes noise and/or lights up

    clothes

    potty chair (hooray!)

    blocks

    push toys

    ball popper

    cardboard box (just kidding)

  8. A trike, he will soon be zooming around on it, or a rocking horse etc.

My son loved his Iggle Piggle.
