Question:

What can i cook to eat with my cheesy potato bake?

Its cheese and onion ready made potato bake.

I like any kind of meat n i like peas, sweetcorn, broccoli and a few other veg bits.

But i have no idea what to put with it!!!

So any ideas please?????

  1. homemade chicken kiev... just get chicken breast and stuff with garlic and parsley butter.. roll it up and coat with flour then egg then breadcrumbs and bake for about 30 mins... yummy..!

  3. lets go the southern route, how about fried chicken, or a roast,, maybe porkchops, and personally, i like steamed veggies. or you could try mashed taters, or brocoli with chz.    and dont 4get the sweet tea!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Grilled chicken breast and broccoli or a good salad. Or you can try grilled fish. I'm not a big fish fan, but if you are, then it would be good with a potato. I'd stick with a light meat (fish or poultry) with a potato, but that's just me. I tend to focus on calories and fats and stuff. You may not need to worry about that so if not, you could eat a steak with it. Good luck!

  6. I would do a spiral ham and some veggies. A ham is so easy to cook and oh so yummy with cheesy potatoes!

    How about a steak or ham steak?!?!?

    Also you need a veggie like asparagus, broccoli or a simple side salad.  

  8. Cajun Fried Chicken or Pork

    4-5 boneless chicken b*****s, boneless pork chops

    1 cup of self-rising flour, unsifted

    1 tsp garlic salt

    1 tsp cayenne pepper

    1tbs Dijon mustard

    1/3 cup Tabasco

    ¼ cup water

    1 – 1 ½ cups oil, for frying

    Combine cayenne pepper, mustard, Tabasco, and water in plastic container or gallon size zip lock bag. If you pierce chicken with a fork first it will be a lot spicier (don’t do this unless you like it HOT!). Place chicken in marinade, turning to coat well. Marinate for no more than 1 hour, turning frequently.

    Combine self-rising flour and garlic salt in a plastic bag or container. Add chicken to coat, one at a time is best. I use tongs so my hands don’t get messy.

    Heat vegetable oil in large skillet on medium high heat.

    Fry chicken pieces, turning once, for about 15-20 minutes total. Remove from pan immediately and keep warm. If you use regular pieces of chicken, with bone in, cook for at least 30-45 minutes, or until done.

    Serving Suggestions:

    Garlic flavored pasta or garlic mashed potatoes and green beans or broccoli.
