  1. viruses, malware, spyware

  2. If you give us more information we can give you a better answer.

What are the specs on your pc and what operating system are you running?

By specs I mean how fast is your processor (cpu) and how much ram do you have.

P.S someone said to fix the registry I wouldn't do that unless you understand what that is.

  3. Keeping the free space of the drive which your OS is located at around 3GB is an ideal practice. You can delete your unwanted files such as old files (you also can use Disk Cleaner found in windows). You also can delete hibernation files(delete it using control panel)

After that do the following :

    1. Defrag your OS drive frequently (daily is recomended)

    2. Defrag and fix your registry (There are many tools out there)

    3. Dont keep 3d games in your OS drive. Use another drive instead

I hope that will help you much. Gud luck.

  4. delete PCPrivacy Cleaner from my computer

  5. Below can help you speed up your pc:

    1. Click Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools – run Disk Cleanup

    2. Temporarily close Quick Launch:

Right-click on the Taskbar, click Toolbars, deselect Quick Launch

    3. Open My Computer

      Right-click on C:

      Click Properties

Click Tools, select Error Check (check all and fix), when finished click defrag & run.

    4. Click Start, Run ipconfig -renew (type ipconfig space renew)

    5. Restart. Right-click on Taskbar, click Toolbars, select Quick Launch to restore

All these things should be done regularly. The more frequently they are run, the less time they take.

-Note: Games and videos are mostly graphics. Graphics create large files. If these suggestions don't help, you might need more memory.

Last, if you haven't cleaned your registry in a while. This is necessary. Your registry holds all the information regarding updates, installs, un-installs etc. Each one of those events produces a key. That key needs your PC's resources and free space. So, if you clean your registry, you make more resources available for speed. Does a registry scan if you got more than 20 errors you should clean it.

  6. You can use ccleaner http://ccleaner.com

  7. Well, nothing really. The speed of a computer is governed by its hardware. The CPU, disk drive, RAM and graphics card all play a part, and deleting data from the hard disk drive will not make these components work any faster! Overclocking, on the other hand, will make your computer work faster.

  8. The speed of a computer is determined, for the most part, by it's hardware resources.  But you also need to keep the system from running to many programs in the background, and to control what starts when Windows loads.

One of the areas that usually needs attention is the msconfig utility.  With it you can control the Windows Boot process to some extent.

To control what starts with Windows:

Click Start and then Run.  (Vista – Start>All Programs>Accessories>Run).  In the run box, type "msconfig" without the quotes and then hit "Enter".  This will open the System Configuration Utility.  Click the "Startup" tab.  Now remove the check mark from any and all programs that you “do not” want to start or "boot" with Windows.  Now click apply and then click OK.

You will need to restart your system.  When the system starts you will see a box stating that you used the Config. utility, put a check in "Don't show this box at startup".

    That should do it.

Do not remove any check marks from your security software.  You want it to load with your operating system.  As for the rest of the programs that are set to load with the OS, you will just have to experiment.  Stuff like Adobe Reader, Gama loaders, Word, etc, can be turned off.  They do not need to load with the OS, you can just click on their icons to launch these programs.

Turning off some of the system services and processes can also help, but this can be a dangerous process for the novice.  Before you remover any of the these you should do some studding and research first.
