my mom got a letter in the mail today saying that as of september 1 i won't have insurance. My insurance covered100%. I have at least 8 to 10 doctor visits a year and go to the er at leastt twice. i take several medications for my diabetes and PCOS. The thing is we will not be able to afford my meds every month or doctor visits. I have an appointment on sept.11 to see theendocrinen but i won't be able to go. I know that it is not my fault but i can't help but feel that if i hadn't gottin sick nor have to be in and out of the hospital this wouldn't happen. Ifyouu know any insurance in GA that are less than a $100 dollars a month and cover at least 50% it would be greatly appreciated.

  1. You could do like me. I can't afford insurance, so I eat right and exercise a lot to control my diseases. Not only has my weight come down, my blood glucose has come down, and I don't need any medication. Trust me, your PCOS and diabetes will be minimized if you follow a simple, inexpensive diet and easy daily exercise plan. The real beauty of this whole approach is, natural foods cost less and fill you up better.

  2. Talk to your doctor as many doctors can refer you to where you can go for state or government health help. Such as in Oregon we have what is called the Oregon Health Plan, or ask if he knows of sliding scale clinics in your area. You'll never get health insurance for less that $100 a month. Some doctors will give you free samples of your medications if you can't afford them. Hope this helps and good  luck.
