  1. Beading is fun, reading, word searches or Sodoku, friendship bracelets. Take a trip to the craft store before your surgery for some inspiration.

  2. sew or knit

  3. Jewelry Making  ;)))

  4. Polymer Clay (Fimo)

  5. What about quilting?  It can be done by hand or sewing machine.  Check out http://www.appliquequiltdesigns.com

  6. Sorry, but first I think you need to work on your grammar, punctuation, and capitalization.  I do get the idea you need something to occupy your time while recovering, but I do not understand the entire question.

Beading, learn to embroidery, cross-stitch, read, tat, latch rugging, and many others.

  7. I just picked up crocheting.

It's easy and you can find a simple video for starters

on youtube, buying the book will just make things harder to learn.

    You can make purses :)

    Good luck!

  8. Embroidery, needlepoint, crocheting or knitting, or quilting should all work with your limited mobility. Best of luck with your surgery!

  9. If you want to continue working on your scrapbook, take one or two pages at a time and do the decoration that way. You can buy a lap tray to work on, or even a tray on legs, that will make your work much easier.

I have three types, a folding TV tray set, a folding bed tray, with storage legs, and a folding chair table from Wal Mart with legs that slide under the chair. I also have a lap tray with no legs, but a clip to hold papers.

  10. I've had quite a few surgeries, once on both feet at the same time. Whatever you do get everything together before the surgery and have LOTS of options. It will ALL get boring.

While you have all this sitting on your butt time now is a good time to get better at your scrapbooking. You won't be hurried and you will have tons of time to setup and tear apart. You can also surf the net and look at others scrapbook pages for cool ideas.

Stamping and making your Christmas cards is fun and the people who receive them think you are so creative. Also you can address them, sign them and make your Christmas newsletter so you are all set for the Thanksgiving mail out.

  11. knitting or jewelry making
