What can i do for a pinched nerve in my neck?

I was playing golf and pinched a nerve in my neck. I have no numbness and i cant turn my head to the right or backwards. Is a heating pad effective? What else can i do?

you may want to see your doctor because they can prescribe meds that can reduce the discomfort. they can also manipulate the neck to releive the pinch nerve. You can also see a chiropractor. they are good for spinal and neck manipulation.
