What can i do for global warming for a science fair project?

One thing I think would work is to put identical thermometers in 2 jars.  Put the lid on one (this is your control - just background amount of CO2).  In the other put a thermometer, a little baking soda and mix it with vinegar.  I think this releases CO2.  Put them an equal distance from a 60 or 100 watt light and take a reading on the thermometer in about an hour.  Easy and quick.  It shows the radiative forcing of CO2 and water vapor (CO2 is gas, water will be liquid but will evaporate).  I haven't tried it though.

Get the raw data for the Earth's temperature since 1860. Subtract the effect of the sun spot cycle length (see source). The difference should be the warming contributed by mankind.

Make a terrarium. find an aquarium or a big bottle in any house that wants to recycle,  an make a terrarium, sealed.

This is the best way to understand the earth life and chemical cycle.

remember to place a thermometer and a humidity gage inside, so you can learn, understand and explain what you see in it every day.

Try is the basics, is what everybody forgets to take into account.

Make a paper mashay globe and show the ozone layer and the sun rays. It works.

2 aquariums. black sand on the bottom of each one. Thermometer in the bottom of each one. Heat lamp shining on each. To one of the aquariums add frozen CO2 ice which is widely available. . As it melts into a gas covering the bottom of the aquarium   notice and measure  the temperatures of each aquarium.  I think you will notice the CO2 gas one will eventually show a higher temperature than the control indicating that it traps the heat of the heat lamp more. .

Idea for science project: You could find out how what are the main sources of how in a regular house hold what are we contributing to carbon levels and then see how much carbon a regular house hold puts into the atmosphere every month.

For a science fair you want to get people interested. I thought that you can have a fish like tank( or a box that you can see through ) and put a thermometer in it. Then you can get/make a mini set of a place burning fossil fuel. The fossil fuel burning building can have a machine creating C02 or just let C02 out of a tube. When you have that ready let the C02 out and you can proove that Global Warming is true because the temperatures increased. You can alo have a very cold ice in the box and compare it to another ice that is in another box without C02.
