Well, regarding getting your parents not to be there, I would suggest two things:

1)  Have the party in a place where they trust you to be without them, such as at a known friend's house or perhaps a skating rink or bowling alley.

2)  Instead of saying, "I don't want you to come!  You guys are embarrassing!", say, "I'd like to do two separate things, one with just family and one with just friends."  You can have a special dinner with your family and then have a separate "friends" party.

Specific ideas:

I already said bowling and skating, but if you have a good friend who'd like to have the party at her place, there are many possibilities.  You can have a theme party where everyone dresses a certain way (favorite movie characters, classic Hollywood monsters, 80s style, 70s style, year-of-birth style - for you, I guess 1995, characters from one TV show you all like, etc.), or you could do something special like make your own pizza (have the crust ready for people, maybe, and have big bowls of toppings set out for everyone to put on their personal-sized pies), play croquet in the backyard, play board games, or do beauty stuff if it is all girls.
