  1. a/c's are supposed to drip water - it's condensation from the heat exchange process going on in the coils.  you need to divert the water away from the structure and especially wood.  try a drip pan that tilts away from the home and drains outdoors.

  2. need to install a running p-trap

  3. If you take the panel off while she's running it will freeze because it ain't getting the air across it.The blower amperage also increases. Not a good idea.

What I think you have is,you are not cleaning the return side of the coil, only the supply,or your drain pan is not pitched toward the drain ever so slightly,or you have a crack or hole in the drain pan,or your drain orrifice is restricted not allowing water drainage at a fast enough rate.Good luck and check everything.

  4. Tilt it so it runs outside. You can't prevent it from leaking that's the condensation.

  5. You need a trap on the drain line to keep the water from being sucked into the unit when the indoor fan is running. A trap on the line will keep water flowing out of the equipment when it is cooling, water should drip hard the whole time the a/c is on,not just when it turns off!

  6. Your air conditioner is leaking because it is the condensation. However, if you need to get a new air conditioner or filters then visit Iaqsource.com because they sell great quality products.
