  1. Take her out the park.  Bring along some of other friends with their kids & have a picnic.

  2. I made mine her own cake and let her have at it, then dunked her in the kiddie pool after...she was happy as a clam, and gets a kick out of it now when she sees the pics. She'll be 5 in a couple of weeks, all she talks about it Chuck E. Cheese...

  3. My parents always love to talk about when I was a baby they said that for my first birthday we had a tea party and all of the neighbors were there and that we played with a parachute they said I had alot of fun.

  4. My youngest just turned 1 last Sunday, and we just had a small family party and invited a few of our friends, since she doesn't really have any yet. I made her a cute little 6 inch cake and just gave it to her to have fun with. It was really cute. For my oldest, we had a really big party, and it was more trouble than it was worth. She was really overwhelmed by everything that was going on. Good luck..and Happy Birthday to your daughter.

  5. Celebrate it with clowns, puppies and purchasing a chastity belt... then throw away the key until she's like 30.

Seriously... we just had family and friends over for the hoopla, but my 4 year-old just remembers the pretty pictures we took from it... nothing else.  I know that this seems selfish, but do this one for you... because every one that follows is going to be costly (especially if you do daycare... so many kids to invite!!!)

EDIT:  Okay, I agree, scratch the clowns... it's a waste of money and they can be scary.

  6. they like the boxes and wrappers better than the toys

  7. The first birthday is really for the parents because your kid is too young to even know what's going on.  For my son we did a small party with friends and family, hot dogs and chips, cake, presents and juice.  He was excited.  Happy Birthday to your little one :)

  8. well we just did a small little party at home with the family and freinds that have had kids in the same year! but do decorate and  do get her her own cake or bake her cake! we did and she ablsolutly loved it! we had a blast and it was suited for her age not like a chuck e cheese party for older kids! or go to your local pizza place and have a party there! they usually have good discounts on the pizza and usually the room is free!

  9. first birthdays are for u and ur family... ur daughter wont remember it at all... so do just a fun family gaather maybe do a theme so u can save keep sakes but she will just be happy to see ppl

  10. Have a Bday Party and Put His/Her most favorite thing on His/her cake. Try not to have a clown  cuz thats how that phobia can form so start the clown stuff later on like 2 and 3 years old. Invite friends and family from the same daycare LoL

  11. OK WELL I HAVE A GOOD ONE!GET A GIRL CLOWN BECAUSE GUY CLOWNS ARE SCARY,GET A LITTLE JUMPER WITH SUPERVISION, DO NOT GET PIZZA FOR FOOD!!START WITH SOMETHING LIKE SOFT FOOD AND HAVE GAMES NOT GAMES LIKE PIN THE TAIL ON THE DONKEY UNLESS YOU PLAY THE GAME WITH TAPE NOT A PIN AND ANOTHER FUN GAME IS TO TAKE THE BALLON AND TRY TO POP IT WITH YOUR BUTT.TRUST ME THIS IS ALL THE INFO YOU SHOULD KNOW.hope it works bye!
