  1. It sounds like your parents are smarter than you, there is no god, people are telling you lies.

  2. Your parents sound cool, you should listen to them.

  3. I've been to many churches all over the USA and never was I as close to God and Christ until I began reading what Christ taught by myself in my own home. I've come to understand far more by learning his words and reflecting on them than any church ever did for me. I have continuously prayed for guidance and can honestly say that I can see where much of what churches teach is not really what Christ taught and did. Whether you don't want to be told that or not, it's the truth.

It goes well beyond just reading. It becomes a clear understanding that speaks to the heart. Keep reading, learning and living what Christ taught.

  4. you could watch the televangelists on t.v. when your parents aren't home.

  5. Hey em,

Remember that you won't be at home with your family for long and this will pass.  While you are there, try not to cause any friction and adhere to the rules of the house.  But you can join christian chat groups, blogs and other communities on the Internet.  You can read your Bible and perhaps study with school friends.  Don't worry.  Enjoy the time you have with your family, pray and read.  Your relationship with God will grow.  You are going to be fine. All the best!

  6. You haven't "gone as far as you can go".  Pray, get sermons on-line, learn a Biblical language like ancient Greek or Latin and read the original Bible without a translation.  It takes more than one lifetime to learn about God.  To know God is to have a relationship with Him.

  7. first and foremost,    you need to honor your parents and if they say you can't go to church, then do not disobey them.

do not make reading the bible an issue so that they do not forbid you to read it.

this is the first serious test you will have. Jesus says a prophet is only without honor in his own country. you have made a profession of faith and you are not suffering for it.

it is very important for your christian witness that you respect and obey your parents and that you do nothing to cause conflict.

when you think you can't take it any more, that is when Christ in you will shine through you to them.

remember, you are the vessel, christ is the inner source and glory of that vessel and Christ will demonstrate he is reall through you

email me if you want to talk

  8. Well it would've helped if you'd ov put your age. but anyway, there is online live church services on sunday mornings. DCFN also has a good point, watch TBN.

  9. Look inside yourself you do not need a church. as most churches are for themselves, each church is part of the whole but they are divided amongst themselves and believe they have the only answer.   If you believe in God nothing can divert you form his path as believe it or not everyone is a part of God even the worst of us

  10. Tell your parents that if they prevent you from communing with The Lord, your One True God, and continue on with their heresy then He shalt smite them down to the ground with such wrath that the Heavens quiver and the Earth be filled with fear until none shalt be left of them but the dust and the ashes from which they came. For it is said that whoever prevents thee from building His Church shalt be punished through and through. And those that stoppeth thee from worshipping Our Lord shalt be destined to Damnation. For only those who obey the Will of God shalt be saved. For the Lord God is good.

    Amen.

  11. How would you feel if your friend's parents told him to go ahead and drink alcohol , smoke and use drugs ? Your parents are just trying to protect you from the stranglehold of the mythology of Christianity . All religions are mythology . There is no proof for any of them .

Read up on ALL religions, and atheism and then when you are old enough to support yourself you will be smart enough to go down the right road .

  12. I know first hand that God can change the hearts of people when we see no answer in and through ourselves!

Go to God every day and ask Him to help with this problem.  I KNOW He will answer you prayers and you'll see a difference.

Bless you as you attempt to serve God in Spirit and in Truth.

  13. Read Daniel ch 6.

    Just do it.

  14. Can you have someone at the church pick you up? Or tell your folks that you're going with a friend? Why would they be so against you going to church, when it will help you live a better life? One thing you can do, is try to be helpful around the house, and show the love of Jesus by being thoughtful to them, so that when they see your good behavior, they will wonder why you are so different. You are more likely to win their permission if they see you have been helpful and respectful to them, than if you fight or mope around. As a parent, I can tell you, my daughter can get permission to go to nearly anything, if her chores are done and she has done what I've asked without sarcasm or fighting with me. I will give her more lenience if she shows me she is responsible.

  15. SPELLING

What ever this rant was about... it hurt my eyes.

  16. Your parents know best.  While you are a minor you should do what your parents tell you.  When you become an adult, then you can throw your life away on religion.

Personally if I had a kid, I'd rather they smoke pot than turned to religion.

  17. Pray for God to work on your parents to change hearts. If you have truly been saved God want leave you hanging. God Bless you, & I will be praying to.

  18. Pray to God sincerely, talk to him, have a conversation, ask for his mercy and love, do it as many times as you feel like, or whenever you feel lonely or despondent. You don't need to go to the Church to be a Christian....

  19. pray - heavenly father i ask that u fill the hearts of my parents with your holy spirit and show to them that i need to go to church and learn all about u and that they need u too - please open the eyes of their hearts to know the truth of who u r - i pray this in this name of jesus - i love u lord and praise your holy name - amen- god bless u and peace be with u

  20. My dear Loving Friend in God, i completely understood your situation in which you are at this time, and i know what are you going through, because i come across like these situtation many times in a day.

One best thing you can do is ask Jesus himself to help you because we can give suggestions but its only Jesus who can help you. You know one great thing, Jesus hears to our prayers mainly when you are alone in a room, crying out to him in prayers, and fasting and prayer and you know many people won this world through this, and one of the main example you can find beside you is Me, Myself, so you can trust me. Itseems Jesus keeps a count of all our TEARS which we shed when we are praying to him and he will surely help you.

Coming to your parents, who are we to force them because Jesus asked us to respect them, one great thing and easy thing you can do is, talk as you talk to your friend to Jesus, pour out your pain to him, he will surely solve it and change parents mind so that they can also join you in prayers, remember Jesus says am the only god who can help people, wipe their tears, even i will pray for you and for your family to Jesus, any more help please feel free to mail to my ID that is 'yahwehhelp@ymail.com' and i will surely help you

    Regards

    Servant of God

  21. do you really expect anybody to believe that  story??

  22. Hello, EM:

You are in a sad situation, but remember this, whenever Satan assails you, as long as you remain faithful to Jesus, He will give you the strength to endure and in your trials He will be your strength..

This problem will be challenging to you, but try to win your parents support by obedience.

Remember that in the Bible, the disciples were sometimes prohibited from going some places as they would not hear. Likewise, don't provoke your parents. You will be tempted to prove to them that being a Christian is better than drugs and slutting around by giving them a bad choice, but don't go there. Remain faithful by attending your youth groups--you need the strength afforded by Christian fellowship.  Sooner than you may imagine, your parents may allow you to attend church.

If not,  the time is coming when you will not be under their domain and God can lead you to greener pastures.  Remain faithful to Him through these trials and you will certainly be blessed here, and many times more in the Kingdom.

One more thing, EM. Since you have a computer, take time to build your faith in Jesus the Messiah by breaking the Bible code at http://abiblecode.com

Shalom, peace in Jesus, Ben Yeshua

  23. WOT!?!?

  24. When you became a Christian it is because you trusted God, right? Well, that's the same thing you must do now, trust God!

So while you are trusting God, you will also be into the Bible. But you like all of the rest of us need teachers. Because we are learning about ancient people and all of that. So teachers help us to understand a lot of things about those ancient people in ancient times, and also of course understand God more.

I would like to show you a site that might be good for you to listen to. The Pastor is a Bible teacher, and he has taught the whole Bible on the internet for free.

His name is pastor Chuck Smith, a lot of people like him, I hope that you do too.

You can e-mail me if you want to. I answer people's question when they want to ask me.

  25. Obey your parents. Continue to read the bible and pray. Show your family the love of Christ by your actions. They will notice the change in your life. Your living testimony could lead them to Christ.

  26. As a parent long ago, I decided to allow my daughter to make her own decisions about what had meaning to her. She read lots, inquired, and came to her own conclusion about life, God, and religion. So parents ought to be fairminded and realize each person is an individual in their own right, and give their children freedom to think and grow as they wish.

I can also advise you to pray in your 'secret chamber within' -- in the 'temple not made with hands', for God hears and knows what we are in need of. It is for us to connect with our divine nature and allow God to work through us.

This may not solve all your problems but it's a good direction to take.
