  1. Take lots of AP courses..take music classes if you don't already play an instrument--join many clubs and activities..volunteer someplace once a week or twice a month--do well on the SAT's..continue to take a second language...make friends with other students who want to get into Ivy league schools...


  2. study a lot.  Take lots of math and science.  Take as many higher level classes as you can handle without jeopardizing your GPA.

  3. Study hard, get good grades, participate in school improvement projects, volunteer for community service projects.

    And don't forget the importance of connections.  Learn something about as many professors as you can at each school your are interested in.  Especially things that can relate to your own life.

  4. Study, get good grades, be active in extra curricular activities, get good SAT scores. When it comes time to apply sit down with your counselor or English teacher to fill out the application and make sure your essay is really good.  

  5. Study hard, and get excellent grades. You will also need A LOT of extracurricular activities. Do really well on your SAT test too remember you can take it as many times as you want.
