i want to store a digital camera in my car (for emergency situations), but the last camera i left in my car broke because it got too cold. I live in an area where i get hot summers and cold winters. Any ideas on what i can use to store it safely?

  1. You shouldn't do that. Just how your old camera got to Cold, your new camera can get to hot the same way. Read your owner's manual and it should tell you the camera's operating limits. Don't keep it in your car, that's always risky, keep it in your back-pack. or On your desk

Don't leave it in the car though,

  2. in a bag in your trunk. the trunk by its nature takes longer to get real cold or real hot because theres only one opening and its usually well sealed, and the bag (bookbag, luggagetype nothing plastic) is extra protection.

  3. Put it in an insulated camera bag. Then slip it under your passenger side seat.
