it get me so mad i hispanic ans so are my friends but they be making jokes on black people all the times saying mean stuff and how they will never marrued a black person or how they ugly and stuff it get on my nerve and we all got black friends to but they never say infront of them or anything they good friends how can i make them stop

stand up to them and say it not cool ( or whatever u kids are saying these days). ask them: how would they feel or what would they do if someone had said something racist about them or about hispanics but were nice to their faces?.people do all the time. U have to stand up for what u believe in because it is just as bad to say nothing as it is to make the racist remark. we all have family and friends that have racist attitudes towards others races.

You need to speak with your friends about evils of stereotyping and discriminating against others. Let them know how offensive and hurtful it is and remind them of how that kind of mentality has caused a lot of suffering throughout the last century!!!!!! Whether it&#039;s said behind one&#039;s back or to one&#039;s face, it is still destructive. You need to ask your friends put themselves in the shoes of the ones they say mean stuff about. What if they heard a group of people saying mean things about hispanics? How would they feel and what would they do about it? What they are doing is neither positive nor uplifting.

If they do not want to listen to you, then they may not be friends worth having or worthy of you!

Well....I can probably relate to your situation.  I suggest you ask them to stop in the beginning.  If they don&#039;t listen, then, I suggest you ignore your friends, for awhile.  When they finally realize you are ignoring them, then, they will ask you what is wrong.  Then, I suggest you tell them what you feel and think is racist and cruel.  If they still don&#039;t listen, then, I guess it is not your fault.  You tried telling them and I guess they continue no matter what you say.

Get new friends. I had a huge problem with this a little while back, and I just started hanging out with new people. I tried to get my friends to stop making racist remarks and this caused extreme drama. They treated me like I was the one with the problem. You shouldn&#039;t have to deal with that!

First let your friend know that the hispanic race ethnic was I would say created by white(x) and black(y). Like this: a child of a (x)+(y) had a child with a (x), Meaning that all hispanic people are of black decent. That&#039;s why hispanic is not a race and its not recognized as a race neither by historians. Ask a police officer on his arrest report( and a lot of forms) they don&#039;t have a box for hispanic, its under Caucasian(white). Hispanic are considered white because of their skin, but they encounter the same prejudices in white america as black people specially in places like South Florida, California. Mexicans are the ones with the strongest black decent in themselves, after you get the cubans, then dominicans.. I learn all that from Hispanic teachers, history and friends because that&#039;s my circle !

I bet when you tell that to your friend they will hate themselves. DO you research and you will realize what I just said is true 100%
