What can i do on a 12 hour trip!?

Well me and my family are having a road to its 12 hours to Tennessee, does anyone have any ideas about what i can do on the trip it'll be about 4 or 5 kids in a van... what can we do, i have a portable DVD player, then i have a blanket pillow and cover..... what else do i need to be comfortable and to keep from being bored?

u can do loads in the car, i have got a long trip this year about 14 hours.

Dvd player is a great idea and bring loads of movies to keep them entertained. Also let them have a mp3 player or a cd player they can listen to on the journey so they dont distract u. Also bring loads of games to play, or electronic games etc..

Books are also good or u can listen to them on ur cd player. Also games are good to bring aswell so have fun on your journey and good luck nix x

mp3 player,crossword puzzles,knitting,eat seeds,play I spy,take pictures,read if it doesn't make you sick.Have fun and stay safe.

*books (if you don't get motion sickness from them)

*puzzles (like crossword, etc.)

*handheld game consoles (Nintendo DS, PSP, etc)

*snacks (just don't eat them all in an hour or two!)

u have to make sure that u r not sitting next to sum one really annoying,i prefer for u to wear sandles that way u can take them off wile ur on the road and easily put them back on if u need to get off for the rr

also u should take some paper and pencils or somethin to keep u buzy ,also play some road games w/ the 5 people in the van such as looking for a certain color of car that passes your car and mayb think about a certain conversation that u guys can talk about ,well.. thats all i have hope this helps!!=]
