What can i do that makes money if i want to help people?

I want to help people, like the homeless and the poor. But i still want to make money? What can i do?

Get a job at your county, work at the foodstamp &child welfare office

Get a degree and an area of expertise that would be of value to an organization working to help the homeless and the poor. Such organizations have an executive director, a director of outreach, counselors who help people find jobs and access health care (including mental health services), at least one accountant/book-keeper, a fund raising person, a facilities manager, etc. Volunteer at an organization that helps the poor and/or the homeless and ask people at the organization what their university degrees are in, what work they do, etc. That will give you an idea of what you should study in order to be a person that could be hired by such an organization.

Also -- consider learning a second language well enough to work in it. This will make you an even more competitive candidate for work in organizations serving the homeless and poor.

a better man than me once said; Go and sell all that you have, give it to the poor and follow me.To figure it out from there negates the passion you have in your soul. I said that last part. Follow your heart and that you have given to; will take care of all your needs.
