  1. In serving you do a good toss and hit with power. Practice everyday so that you can hit six player-spots and those in between **at will**. (Call the spot and hit, not hit the spot then call it :)

In hitting, make sure you start your approach at the right spot and not go up too early. You should jump **behind** the ball not "under the ball" (this is a key difference from playing basketball).

There are lots of tips to get better, but the bottom line is that you need to find a good coach/partner to play with and you play regular "real game" instead of just staying around your house peppering.

  2. well i am on a vball team and when i was having trouble serving i just tried to get stronger and then i could serve harder. i am not telling you to lift weights or anything but just try to get better!

  3. don't play S****y volleyball or picnic volleyball dumbass!!

  4. The more you play the better you will get.  Join a club team...go to vb camp.  As far as serving goes...its all in the toss and a quick arm swing.  When hitting, try to keep your eye on the ball and work on your timing.

  5. To get better in volleyball you have to master the basic things first, and then practice them over and over! For better serving: first practice just your toss. Stand with the ball in your hand and with your left foot forward (right if left handed) and toss the ball it should go about 2 feet above your head and land in front of your foot. Once you've got that down you can practice with actually serving, remember to keep your elbow high.

For better hitting: Practice your approach first. If you want a three step approach, take a big step with your left foot, a small with your right, and a small with your left. Plant your feet firmly on the last two steps and send all your energy from stepping into jumping straight up! Then when you add the ball also remember three things: extend your arm, snap your wrist, and follow through.

  6. yeah the best thing to do is practice, passing or serving to yourself on a wall, bumping with a friend, anything. for serving it really helps to have a strong palm when you hit the ball.  same with hitting.  good timing helps.  and for being more energetic, if you love volleyball and you're into the game, you'll be surprise how energetic you'll get

  7. Get tips from your coach

Maybe even hire someone to help.

It would be too long for me to help you with everything.
