Iam 5'9 and would like to dunk by november

  1. practice,  work on your leg muscles,  do squats, press weights. work hard,  practice


  2. lower the basket and work on leg mucsles

  3. Toe raises, 500per day If not more.  Jump rope, Alot. skipping yeah i know but it works but no girly skipping you really have to jump.

  4. AS a former dunker, I am always awed by a 5'9' guy dunking. I once saw an imported teacher from Africa, he was around 5'7" and he could dunk. He attributed it to jumping a lot. (onto Elephants).

    So what you need to do is work on your flexibility, strengthen your leg muscles and run. There was one NBA player who could jump to the top of the backboard. His conditioning trick was that he jumped rope.

  5. I used to dunk in high school and I was 5 8. I trained using plyometrics. I forgot how long it took before I had results. It was good for the two foot jump. I also long jumped 22 feet - it didn't work as well for one foot jumping.
