What can i do to fix a camera where the little lens doors open?

my camera won't work now..the screen turned black and now the lens doors won't open..any suggestions?

If its still under warranty, take it back to the manufacturer. Other than that you need to post a more details.

-The battery could be dead.

-There could be something stuck.

-Something might have broke.

There are a million possibilities.

it really depends on what camera you have, if you have an slr, i can help you, but other than that, no, sorry...

Since you can turn it on and it makes noise, it's not an issue with the battery. It's a mechanical issue causing the lens cover to jam. I don't suggest opening up the camera yourself to fix the problem if you don't know what you're doing. You'd need to take it in to a camera store to have it repaired, and check to see if it's still under warranty. Either way it shouldn't be too costly.
