I was riding along the other day when i noticed that my subs went quiet. When i went to check it out i realized that they were still making sound, but it sounded quiet and very low quality (bass was heavily distorted, not very loud). the amp seems like it is still working and the wiring seems ok. Can both subs have blown at once? Maybe there is something loose somewhere, a bad connection maybe?

  1. Check the RCA connections on the amp first and then the ones on the headunit.  Sometimes the vibration of the car/bass can make them loose.  When a speaker is blown, you'll know it.  It makes an awful noise.  Hope it works.
