What can i do to fix the crankshaft sensor in my car?

okay well about 2 weeks a go i got a new engine on my 97 acura integra, when my mechanic finish putting in the engine and the car had turn on we seen that the check engine light was on so he put in the computer and is was saying that is was the crankshaft sensor but the problem is that the new engine that i put does not have were to put the crankshaft sensor and the old engine does and i what the light to go off wat can i do about ths?

You may not where it is, but the crankshaft sensor is there.  Get another mechanic.

Is the replacement engine older  than the 97 engine? How much older? I have had to change the crank  componets over from the engine to make the system work.
