  1. About five years ago I bought a total gym 1500, I use it to stay in shape for surfing.  About one hour, to an hour and 15 minutes, two or three times a week works well for me.

  2. Skateboarding, roller blading, soccer, jogging. Stuff that relates to your ankles, and hips. oh and your legs. Your going to be useing those

  3. try surfing and if you can't do that then get in a gym.

*RUN! to get your endurance up, unfortunately there is no other way.

*Leg press & leg curl, to help you push off your jumps.

*Sit ups & lower back, to make you more comfortable when you are hunched over. also sit ups and core stuff will help you throw tricks way better.

*do a lot of flexibility training

*take fish oil pills, to help lube your joints, it doesn't sound like it will do a lot but trust me, it makes a world of difference.

**if you have the opportunity to do high altitude training it will prepare you for the mountain much better than training at sea level. after all you have to ride at high altitude, might as well train for it.
