  1. Cook in a cast iron skillet, esp things like Spaghetti sauce.

  2. SPINACH!! You can add some garlic then add it as a side to some pasta..yummmmm

  3. Pistachios, lentils, cashews, chick peas, whole grains, sesame seeds, tahini, black strap molasses, apricots, and spinach all have a lot of iron. Eating/drinking foods rich in vitamin C with the food rich in iron will help your body absorb the iron. However, if you're a vegan, and that's why you're worried about not getting enough iron, you shouldn't be worried. Iron deficiencies are no more common in vegans than the general population.

    Hope this helps!

  4. Any green leafy vegetable like spinach, kale, collards, mustard or dandellion greens, etc.  Lima beans too.  Brocolli, brocollini, and brocolli rabe are a close 2nd.

  5. green apples

  6. Dark leafy greens , raisins ,  oatmeal, dried  beans, cooked soybeans.

  7. The red and dark green ones..  Beets have more iron than even spinach or broccoli or brussel sprouts and these usually have much more iron than any meat.  Meat products have very little iron and that is used product not fresh.   Iron from Vegetables if fresh and better for you.  I dark red fresh beet of average size will provide all the iron you need for the day!  Heavy workers should eat at least 2 beets a day.   Raw is best!

  8. Liver and onions.
