I'm in my mid-twenties. I have a hairy back neck chest stomach and shoulders. It came when i was about 18. This had stopped me from pursuing many things in life. Such as my swimming career, joining the military, hanging out at the beach, and yes relationships. I'm tired of having to hide it because its not socially acceptable. I'm tired of letting it get the best of me. WHAT CAN I DO!!?? laser is too much creams and stuff like that don't last and itch! am i doomed?

  1. I agree that waxing is the best answer for you however I would suggest you also add a hair growth inhibitor.  This is a lotion which you apply daily.  This will decrease the regrowth of the hair and will help it be finer.  After a while you will be very satisfied with the results.

  2. just wax it

  3. use NAIR all over your body!

  4. If you've let that stop you from doing things you love--your problem goes deeper than just the hair on the surface.

  5. No u aren't really doomed! U can just learn to live with it and accept the way u are. Shaving it off isn't really a good idea cos it grows back thicker and stronger. U could try electrolysis.

Electrolysis has been used for over 125 years, and is the only form of hair removal still considered to be completely permanent for all hair types, although this may not be true for everyone. A hair-thin metal probe is used deliver electricity to a hair follicle, causing localized damage the hair. If the probe is slid into the hair follicle properly, it does not puncture the skin.

The down side to electrolysis is that, because it targets one hair at a time, it can be a drawn out, tedious process. Also, u may find the small bursts of electricity unsettling. For large areas, such as back hair, it's even more challenging.

    So consider!

  6. The Man-Groomer worked wonders for me:

Some chicks actually dig hairy guys though. Don't get discouraged.

  7. Personally I love hairy guys..

    sooo masculine, mmm =]

but if your really down about it, waxing would be the way to go, it's effective and pretty cheap, just don't tell anyone ahah

  8. Waxing. It may be painful to have done the first few times, but it will pay off in the end. It takes out the roots with the hairs, and causes the follicles to grow back slower, and less heavy as it would be if you had shaved.

  9. Get it all waxed off.  It grows back of course, but it isn't to bad when it does because the hair is pretty fine.  At first you'll have to go every few weeks, but eventually the hair will grow slower and slower, and be less and less thick, and eventually (after years) there wont be any there at all.
