What can i do to help me calm down?

Whenever, i stress out my period gets delayed. I am trying to keep calm. Have a history of PCOS. I am execising n all. What can i do to help me calm down?

  1. Try to examine your life to see if there are any changes you can make to eliminate stresses before they start.

    It might be helpful for you to find a counselor who can assist you in finding ways to avoid letting things stress you out.  


  2. play calming music or music you like, that always calms people. Also do breathing exercises, like taking deep breaths. Other things such as doodling also helps.  

  3. go buy some nice stuff for the bath like bath bombs and salts.  then run yourself a bath and put the  bath bomb or salts in the bath,  have a big tub of your fave ice cream or some chocolates.  and maybe have a cd player playing some nice soothing music.  maybe not pop music actual relaxation music that people use  for meditating or just relaxing.

  4. 5 MINUTES of meditation will do everything you need.It will not only give you relaxation , but improve your concentration as well.

    Do yoga if you can ,which multiplies the effects of meditation as then you would be having sound body as well

  5. when i get nervous or abit panicky, i've found that 'Kalms' help. They are a type of tablet, not drugs, fully herbal and good for you haha. One night i was in a state and i was fine within the hour. hope this helps.

Yoga is the best for calm effect.  A light yoga breathing exercise, will not only calm you but regular exercise will normalize your period as well.  I use to have heavy periods and they would come when I was stressed or overworked.  Lot of pain and pills left me drowsy and irritable.  Now, no pills, just lot of breathing exercise to lessen the pain, and concentration on other things other than the pain.  We never spend time on ourselves (women), which should really be a priority if we want to look after those we love, well.  So try it, you will be surprised.  Meditation as well at the end of  exercise, to drain off the negative vibes that are always around women at this time.
