  2. jumping squats. that's what I do on my team and it does wonders!!!

    also make your thighs and calves stronger.

    also, when you get ready to jump, swing your arms up.

  3. Calf exercises (e.g. raises). Jump alot.

  4. try the science of jumping  program ran by the company STS(strentgth through science) there is a 2 year work out plan that u only have to do once every 4-7 wat u do is shoch ur nervous system and make jumping more of a natural reaction. the signal goes from your leg stight to the base of the spinal chord and then back to ur leg instead of going from ur leg up through the spinal chord to ur brain and being processed and then sent back down to ur leg. meaning ur jump faster.and sence to jump higher u need more force to jump higher and the formula for force is power divided by distence divided by time. but sence distance is a constant it becomes power/time and since the jump u are doing is more of a natural reaction instead of a decison and it rakes less time u jump way higher. the workouts are not that hard but the next day u r exausted because ur nervouse system is totally shocked. remember STS(strength through science) the science of juming. it is a great purchase trust me!

  7. Lift! I play varsity volleyball and I had the same problem! Go to your schools weight room or a local YMCA and lift..leg lifts! I also do cav raises stand on the edge of something..like stairs in your house and raise your shelf up on your toes! It burns after awhile but it really helps! :)]
