  1. A lot of bunnies don't really like being held or petted, but some do (like mine, she's a cuddler). My Lolita plays with little plastic balls with bells inside (cheap cat toy) and lots of toilet paper tubes. What she really likes is when I stuff a tube with her hay and some veggies and she can roll it around till they fall out, or she can just chew straight through. I also got her a big ball made out of woven hay (edible) with a bell in it. she played with/ate it for about three weeks, although by the end of week one it wasn't a ball anymore... but it was meant to be eaten, so it's ok. Basic rule of thumb, only get things that are edible or HARD plastic. Bunnies have sharp teeth, so they can chew through softer rubber toys and choke on small pieces. They can't vomit, so choking is a real hazard with bunnies. Also, its a reason to brush them especially when they are shedding, because if they get hairballs they can't cough them up like cats and their digestive tract will block up and they can die. Its also a good idea to give them SMALL amounts (LESS than 1 teaspoon per pound of body wieght) of pineapple once or twice a week when they are shedding, it can help digest the hair that they do swallow. They l**k themselves clean like cats! That was a bit off topic, but back onto toys... It is also VERY important to give them some things that they can chew on to wear their teeth down, since they grow constantly. You can get sticks of woods that are safe for your bunny to chew (some woods are toxic, don't just grab sticks from your backyard) and at some pet stores you can get little squares of grey pumice stone, which is really good to wear their teeth down. Also, be sure to clip your bunny's nails every once in a while! I know this is a lot of information, but its all very important for the health of your pet! Especially if you are new to owning rabbits, PLEASE check out www.rabbit.org to see what you should be feeding your bunnie and what else you should do to keep him healty!

  3. I have had 2 bunnys!!! They really like carrots.. CELERY gives them diarehha i think soo!   Hmm Get little brick nibbler things my previous bunny loved those. They rly like alfafa hay or whatever.   My bunny <3's being pet!!  Make sureto pay attention to it. I had to give mine away because i didnt pay any attention to it :(.  Take them outside too.... buy them a leash lol its hilarious. Make sure to clip them toenails. Fill up its water everyday!!

  4. I use to raise rabbits for shows and I have leash's we would take them outside but not when it is really hot because rabbits can not pant therefore they get heat stroke very easy. Anyway,  they love to play around on the lawn and it's a great snack for them too.

  5. i have a bunny too. toys dont have to be expensive. you can just give it card board like a paper towel roll. bunnys love to be pet especially between the eyes. bunnys also like out of the cage free time which will make it pretyy happy. good luck! (:

    they love to be pet.

    they also love to cuddle.

    greens are good too!

give them a small amount of fresh dark greens about twice a week.

if you keep your bunny in a cage make sure it's 4x their size length width and height.

they also like things they can runthrough and small hideouts.

  7. Anything that simulates how rabbits act in the wild will make bunnies happy. This means hiding in dark places, chewing, digging, climbing, and running through tunnels. Tunnels to run through can be made of cylindrical cardboard concrete forms you can find at the hardware store. Bunnies love to chew on untreated wood blocks, cardboard, ropes, and wicker baskets. Try making little mazes with cardboard boxes for them to navigate through. They also like dark, secure places to hide, like the inside of a small cardboard box with a couple of openings for doors. A bunny that is in a cage or hutch all day will never be a happy; you have to let him out to explore. Make sure while they are outside the cage they are closely supervised so they don't chew on power cords or anything. You can also buy wire exercise pens they make for puppies- these allow the rabbits to run around without being totally left out to ruin your house. The toys you use to keep them occupied, as you can see from the examples I gave, do not have to be expensive. Just use your imagination!

Also try some treats once in a while. They don't need more than a couple slices at a time, but bunnies really love bananas!
