Question:

What can i do to learn the splits?

as in gymnastic splits. are there any stretches im supposed to do or anything?

  1. The best thing you can do is just to try them. Sit at home and stretch everyday. If you do splits everyday, slowly you will see them get better and closer to the ground. Just constantly stretch and thats what will help you.

    or you could just ........... sit down, stretchyour legs out as far as they will go to each size and then get into the forward position and shift yourself up into the standing up position with your legs on the floor .

  4. It's a case of practice, practice, practise. Dance exercises help too to make you more supple.

    It will take time but it's worth it.

  5. they way i learned to do it was like this. i sit cross legged on the floor and try to get my kneee caps to touch the floor, at ifrst i coodnt do it but i carried on tryin and tryin and once i was able to tuch my knee caps on the floor i i gradually did the splits x

How i learned to do the splits.  Is that i streached every day.  and did my cheerleading kicks and toe toche then that'll get your legs where you can get a good streach then try it every day.  If that doesn't help you should think about getting a gymnastic student or instructor to sit down with you to tell you more.  Well got to go but i hope this helps.

  7. get into gymnastics and someone will be able to do the splits and ask them to help you. they should be able to.

  8. You need to gradually improve your flexibility. Stretching everyday should do the trick. Stretch your legs in particular
