What can i do to make a betta bubble nest not pop?

what could i do? it just started today so should i give it more time? Do plants (live or fake) make a difference. Do i need the blackwater extract? Why?

To make a betta's bubble nest last longer, put a lid on the tank.  This will increase the humidity of the air in the tank and lengthen the amount of time the bubble has before it pops.  

I'm not sure why you want to keep your betta's bubble nest around longer, though.  

Plants do not make a different in nesting behavior.  All the betta needs is the desire to make a nest and something floating on the surface to anchor the nest to.  They can even build a nest in a corner of a tank on the edge if they want to, no floating anchor required.  

Why do you want to know about the nest?  Are you trying to breed bettas?

Add a lid and let your betta do the rest.

Bubble nest of betta, that's a nice simbol for next generation. The bubble nest should be in quite water environment. It last longer with water-ferm and water-weed.

Hi,

I have never bred bettas personnally but in books etc i have seen that people get a styrofoam cup cut it in half and then float it on the surface of the water and then the bettas build a nest inside.

But as well to stop the nest popping then makesure that the water isn't moving to fast as the fast flow will bust it.
