  1. my seven month old is a finicky eater too....

#1 never give a seven month old raisins!

#2 dont distract cause she just wont pay attention to eating shell just wanna play

#3 shes probably not all that hungry... A hungry baby will eat no matter what. .

Note: my son has a problem with his formula (not solids)

#4 give her a spoon and let her try to feed herself... she probably wants to be more involved than just having food stuffed into her mouth (it may get messy but its awfully cute)

#5 go at her pace... if shes a slow eater then just let her tell you when shes yell at ya whens shes ready for another scoop

#6 pick one of her fav.. foods and give her a scoop of her food and then follow it up with a favorite (my son loves his pears!)

*all of these tips helped me when I had a problem giving my son solids but now hes doing Great!*

Good luck honey I know what your going through!

  2. The old plane trick?

  3. www.wholesomebabyfood.com is a good site for recipes and foods to give your baby.

For making it fun, you could let her feed herself - it will be messy, and she might not eat much, but just give her a bowl, a spoon and plenty of finger food and leave her to have some fun. If she sees food as something good fun, she's more likely to eat it. Don't wipe her clean as soon as she gets a little bit of food on her, that's just teaching her to see food as something dirty. Mostly, just let her play :) Let her see you eating and enjoying food, and offer her bits of things from your plate (if they are suitable). HTH

  4. distract her or entertain her when she is eating!!!

    :^)

  5. maybe add a little sugar or powdered sugar to to what ever your feeding her.

  6. well try eating along with her or do the airplane thing try music as for food try jello and always raisins

  7. My youngest is that age now and I have just started giving him yogurt, hard boiled egg, a little cheese and chicken.

He particularly likes cheese---I make a sort of  {sorry I can't think of the English word for this} it is brown rice, chicken, and various vegetables boiled until soft and  and then put in a food processor--- he is also very happy with mashed banana which I think is revolting---

  8. ugh, have the same problem with my 14 mo old. i hope you figure something out, because it doesnt get easier. good luck to you.
