  1. have passion for the sport, always be there on the court for your teammates as backup, call every ball, and be aggressive. Beig there for your team on the court will show the coach that you are there for your team. Being vocal will let the coach know that you are there. even if your coach cant c u, they will hear you. Coaches would rather you too aggressive than not aggressive enough, so even if it isnt your ball b there just in case your teammate cant get there or something.

  2. all coaches want someone with a learning attitude. they dont want to deal with players who think that they're the best. also, HUSTLE! coaches notice players who hustle, that includes during drills, during games, during practice, and anytime. there is no walking on a volleyball court, near a volleyball court, or no where near your practice/game area. show your coach that you're there to play volleyball, try to avoid side conversations during drills. do not TRY to do your best, have your mind set to DOING your best. oh, and dont forget to be aggressive, be loud when you call the ball. call the ball when you think you can get it. once you call it, you get it... even if someone else is calling the ball, too. but make sure if you're gonna get the ball while someone else is calling it, that you were calling the ball louder than your teammate.

  3. do your best and go the extra mile.  coaches do not want high maintenance people.

  4. call the ball, ask ??s, be positive, encourage ur teammates, tough EVERY ball that is yours (or that u call) whether that means diving or not, sprint to ever station or position, when shagging balls, RUN!  always b up for a challenge, keep smiling and always give 110%.

      hope this was enough!!!!!
