What can i do to minimise my pics file size?

I am traying to upload a picture on my bebo site, but its seems like the picture file size is to large, as they just accept 2MB pics. Is there any site or anything that can help to minimize the flie size of the pic? The program or site should be 100% Free please Thanks.

You already have the program...

Its called Paint....

What you do it open the Picture the picture with Paint ( Right click...Open With) and then when it is open in the program

Save As > At the botton Save as Type > select Jpeg.

That should save another copy of the picture but the size of it will be in the kbs.

you need to save them as jpeg files.  pref. medium quality

Any half decent image editor will allow you to do that
