What can i do to prepare myself for swimming?

I might boat a lot with some family and i just want to prepare probably in 2 weeks. We are going to swim a lot in a lake and I want to prepare myself without getting too much cramps or pulled muscles. How can i prepare myself?? Eat more fats or veggies??

  1. Swimming and running are completly different so you don't need to run more or less. The day that you swim inthe lake eat less milk and dairy. You can do some abs andpushups to help your core. Depends on you weight about eating but I wouldn't eat that much different. Just go and have fun done worry about much else:)

  3. No, you don't need to eat more or less food. Just do some sit ups or push ups. You could get a membership to a local pool and prep yourself. Do a few laps and some bobs. You can run but it wouldn't help but figuring that swimming and running are not exactly the same.
