What can i do to "fix" my body proportions?

i really hate my body. i'm 18, 5'4, 125 lbs. my chest is 30A, but my hips are 38 inches. i look so horribly disproportioned because my butt and thighs are huge, my shoulders are broad, and my chest is too tiny.

is there any way to fix this? i look horrible, no wonder guys don't like me. =(

  1. Honey, guys like girls with confidence.

    Look at Shakira and Beyonce, both have big hips and small chests.

    If you really feel you need to. try Pilates it will slim you down and make your muscles long and lean. Then to build out your chest do flys on a weight machine.

You don't seem out of proportion to me, but I understand how you feel.  We are our own worst critics.   You may have a smaller chest, but you should learn to love your body.  I used to have very similar measurements to you.  I got a breast augmentation and only then did I realize I was worried about NOTHING.  Suddenly, my eyes were opened to the fact that almost all the bras on the market are padded.  I used to think I was the only person who bought those things!  Apparently, almost everyone does.  Sometimes we amplify our problems in our own minds.  Stop torturing yourself.   PLUS, at your age, I wouldn't be bothered with guys.  Guys will be such a drain on your emotions because they are sooo immature at that age.  Hold off on them as long as possible.  They get better with age.  Some do anyway.

  5. i'm not going to suggest surgery cuz its a waste of money but you could try being more confident about your body. At least you know that if a guy's interested and talking to you, he's not talking to your chest.

  7. your not grown yet so maybe youll grow b***s if not go buy some like everyone else does that thinks that will make them perfect. once your b***s are fixed youll just find something else to complain about.  yea fix it by letting GOD know he made a mistake and gave you hips instead of b***s. or maybe your mom should have not eatin so many pears.. you cant have everything be happy with wat you got.. and are you trying to say something bout people with big hips? cuz i love having a big ***

    You should not hate your body. 125 is a good weight for being 5'4. Try doing pilaties to tone your butt and thighs. It also help tone your shoulders. not build muscle, but tone..also buying a slightly padded bra..it might help make you feel better. I'm sure there are guys who like you, but you don't know it.

I'm 23 with a tiny rack too... best thing to do about that without getting surgery is to invest in a very good push up bra, and some of those gel inserts that are big enough to offer one full cup size difference... they sell em at victorias secret. As for the large hips, if you aren't over weight, it is probably genetic. Is your mom or dad shaped like that? And if it's not genetic, the best way to trim down the bottom half is cardio; run as much and as often as you can. I've been running for a year and i've lost a few pants sizes, 7lbs of fat and my stomach is flatter than ever.. I knwo this doesnt sound like a lot but when you really look at the big picture, it's a huge deal. As for guys not liking you, you need to get over that because any guy who doesn't want you because of your body, is a jerk and is shallow. You should be interested in guys who want you; I've seen some pretty fugly girls with really hot guys... why? Confidence and personality. not saying you are ugly because i'm sure you aren't but think hun if they can get a boyfriend, so can you!

  11. if you are 5'4" and 125lbs, there is no way, you would have a 30 waist. But if you do, just eat healthy and exercise you will see the result.

  13. dont eat fast food, that is the stuff that goes right to your thighs! (and butt)

    eat healthy (replace fries with fruits & vegetables etc.)

    DRINK MILK.

    do 3 runs a week (if youre too embarrassed to go jogging around the neighborhood, use a tread mill :D)

    replace anything you drink (soda, juice, alcohol) with water and milk.

    IF you go to a gym, make sure you get a trainer to keep you on track and do the right workouts
