i have owned a few snakes, and the only time i've seen one power spray was out of fear . a friend of mine was kind of annoying my burmese and got showered-- serves him right:) i told him snakes are easily stressed, but he didn't listen.

Not much.  Goes along with the species.  Do some research on the "care and handling" of the kind of snake that you have.  When any animal releases odiferous substances it is for certain reasons:  marking territory, scared, angry, generally just disturbed.  You might find the reason which will help to alleviate this instinctual behavior.

Ok unfortunately sweetie there is people that feel you asked for their uneducated opinion. I'm sorry to see such foolish people out there. If you don't know the answer people, DON"T ANSWER IT!

Ok as far as the musking. The only thing that you could do would be to have it's Musk Gland removed by a Vet. However, you have to understand that this is a defense mechanism they use in the wild. It is very common. Not all snakes do it. There are several snakes you can get that don't musk like that. It has nothing to do with pee. It is actually a mist that their body perspires when they feel threatened. If you don't want to live with the smell, then I suggest getting rid of the snake and purchasing one that does not musk. I don't know what kind of snakes you are into but a few that do not musk are Ball Pythons, Reticulated pythons, Bermease Pythons, etc.

It's called pee, and if you want an animal to stop peeing, I'm pretty sure the only way to make it stop is by murdering it.
