What can i do with Rs.25000(indian)?

my parents have given me Rs.25000(indian).shall i put in the bank or is there a better to make use of it.iam a 2nd year bsc.zoology student-20yrs old

keep the money in the bank for now,you could maybe spend Rs.2000 on clothes that you so needed but did'nt want ur parents to buy it for you.You could use the rest of the money to buy essential text books that you may need in the course of your study!
