What can i do with a ba in sociology with a concentration in criminology?

i want to work with law enforcement. should i minor psychology? what does this major entail is it more of how certain groups cope with crime ...? my main objective is to wokr with law enforcdement and councel inmates or victims something of that sort-figure out whats wrong with them. should i just major in psych? is it hard to find a job with such degree in bay area california?
