  7. i am not a pro and i am constantly asking the same question try finger painting, cheke cheese, play areas for kids jungle gym, zoo, aquarium, park, dancing...

  8. At 2 (I'm assuming more toward 3) They are in the "project" stage. Some fun projects are:

-Get a box with buttons, pipe cleaners, glue, pom-poms, googly eyes, brown paper bags, and some socks (clean). Have him make a puppet. Then put a little show on.

-Making cards for friends/family, Either get well, birthday, Holiday, or just for the fun of it. I actually had my kids (for the 4th of July) make cards for the soldiers in Iraq. They had lots of fun with it.

-Make calenders at the start of each month (just for that month). Don't forget to add in special events and holidays.

-Make scrapbooks with pictures. Have your son help you lay out the pictures, pick colors, help decorate, etc.

-Have art project based on the month/hoilday. If you need any, I have a ton for you!

Outside of arts and crafts, you can:

    - Play pretend. Buy some police, fireman, or doctor dress-up costumes. Then act out. Maybe have him "hose down the fire" or "fix your cut". Lots of learning and imagination!

-Have a picnic! Go out to the park with a nice lunch. Then go out for some ice cream. Quality time!

-Set a playgroup up with your children. My kids started preschool when they were 3, so we went to a playgroup until then. We would meet twice a week. The children would play together (switch houses) and parents would get advice from others. Everyone would make friends.

    Outside of the house:

You can go to the zoo, children amusement park, beach, lake, park, friends house, etc.

  9. My kids love to play in sprinklers outside, play with bubbles and play at the park on the playscape.

  10. mabey go to the park
