I dont want to leave them to wither as it gets colder as I love the smell and feel it would be a waste

  1. cut the ends of a pair of tights... put it in there.... tie it up.... make a pretty cover for it then hang it in your wadrobe to scent your clothes... it needn't be large you could make lots... even give them to your friends as gifts

  2. Pick lavender whilst it's in flower and rub off the "petals" onto a piece of paper.  Make little pouches out of thin cloth such as muslin or chiffon and fill each one with the lavender.   Secure the pouch with a ribbon...give them away as presents or use them yourself in the wardrobe, hung on door handles or slipped between your pillow and pillowcase for sweet dreams.  Squeeze the pouches to crush the lavender as it dries.

  3. i just grinded the flowers and put them in a bowl the scent lasted a while really nice

  4. grind up the leaves until they are really small and then put them in a bottle and put some water in it too. It should make a smell of lavender after a while but it doesn't always work.

  5. shred them up, put them in a bowl add a few drops of lavender oil to them and use them as a pot pouri in either your bedroom, bathroom or wherever!

Use them in the bath for a ralaxing, calm affect

Best idea (which i do) Is shred them up, add some water - rose water is better and a drop of lavender oil and a drop of tea tree oil and use it as a daily cleanser! Lavender is good for the skin - has anti-bacterial properties and also calms the skin, also used in the medieval times. So id say use as much as you can on your skin!!!!!!!

  6. I watched the film "A good year" recently and lavender on your windowsill keeps scorpions away apparently. Not sure if this helps :)
