  1. Ya you can do that. what are you asking. you can always tattoo over a tattoo. go for it and you can keep the nickname there and just add on.

  2. putting a filler tatoo. going and getting it removed or modifying that tatoo

  3. I would put ivy growing in it and over/around it - add some flowers.  It means you grew beyond the nickname, and that you're someone new now - the ivy being the growth over something old and faded, and the flowers being the blooming of the new you.  The flowers you can get designed can be very personalized.  You might even have words coming out of them - new words to replace the old one.

  4. Depending on the original tattoo you may be able to get it covered with a different design. If its a black tattoo you may need to get it slightly lasered so that they have a lighter tattoo to covered, this can be expensive though. If not you may need to just have a solid black cover up tattoo, but you may not want this if it is relatively big. your best bet is to go to a professional tattooist and explain to them your predicament.

    Good Luck

  5. Go to a good, reputable tattoo shop and have them redesign the tattoo. They can do amazing things to change a bad tat into something beautiful.

  6. yer get it covered, u will be limated what u can get but goto the tattoo parlour and ask them

  10. A lot of people tell me that this happened to them. You can have a professional draw over it to correct the fading or they can cover it up with something else. Theres also lots of body make up available to cover it if it bothers you.

  11. My mermaid tattoo is a cover up tattoo, if they are done by a reputable artist they can be very successful, so why not go and have a chat with a few artists, I am sure they would be able to advise you on how best to deal with this.

  12. We would probably need a picture to give any good advice. If you go to a professional tattoo artist I'm sure they can draw something up for or you. Or at least give you some good ideas.

  13. no, you must develop what is already in place, make it blossom with little buds, or make it melt, my favorite is to set old tatoos on fire!! turn it into a representation of who you are becoming since you first got it!

  14. Okay so there is special make up that they use to cover up tattoos its pretty expensive.

You could have it surgically removed but that's really expensive too.

Or you could have a professional redo the original.

I suppose you could get something over it.

After all it is your choice.
