  1. My kids are school aged, and when my last job ended I thought, oh i'll just stay home with them over the summer... Only we got way behind on bills really fast. So I got a job at the summer camp and got them enrolled for next to nothing (so i don't have to pay child care, and I know they are in a good program while I am working too). During the school year, I plan on working in a school so that I start and finish at the same time as them (and since they will be riding a bus to and from, I will have plenty of time to be at home both after they leave in the morning and in the evening when they get home).

In addition to all this, my car broke down at the end of last school year. I have been riding city buses to make all this work. So look into the advice from others (childcare assistance, welfare, etc), and do what you have to do. It will all work!

  2. If your kids are little, do a make-shift musical or play.  You can take stuff laying around the house (like toilet paper/paper towel rolls for mikes and guitars, etc.) and make customes out of towels and sheets.  Or, if it's sunny and feasible, take a walk (like a nature walk)...

If they're older, play a board or card game for "wagers" (like, whoever wins doesn't have to do chores for a day/week, etc.)

  3. u sould get a job and save ur money and then when u sould save up 2 about 5000 dollars and then buy a car and if u have more money left save it up to about 200 more dollars and u keep on saving ur money and getting food and other stuff u need and just save ur money

  4. Since you have no money, you will qualify for assistance. They will help you with childcare, finding a job, and sometimes transportation.

  5. more info please

  6. get assistance, go to food pantry's and learn to stay home

  7. ok what do you need help with?

If you have NO money, go get a job,  get public assistance for daycare until you can save up enough from work to pay for it yourself.  As for no car, find a daycare on the same bus route as your work.

  8. Take a bus.  And if you have no money why do you have internet?

  9. Go apply for welfare.  They pay you good money so that you can stay home to look after your children without working until they are 18.  By then, you make another 2 babies to keep you in welfare.

  10. Provide child care in your home.

  11. First, relax, it's all going to be OK.

Next, see if you can have your mother, or another close relative take  your two children for a day or two during the week so you can spend some focus time on getting assistance.

Early in the morning on such a "day off," find a way to your local department of welfare (Department of Children & Families, etc.) and speak to someone about getting help.

Depending on where you live, you may qualify AFDC, emergency cash assistance, food stamps, women in crisis, medicaid, and other forms of help for you and your kids.

Take one step at a time. Remember, it's going to be ok.

  12. Where's your family?  Where's the father?  Get child support.  Go on freecycle and try and get a car or on craigslist.  Get a job.  Get assistance, go to church make some friends. There are tonnes of options. Are you depressed?

  13. I think get a job is a bit harsh, don't you!? You don't know this person's circumstances. Do you have a partner? I've been in that boat (with a job, thank you very much. Just cause you have no money doesn't mean you haven't got a job.) I have to admit it was really hard and I was stressed most of the time. How old are your kids? Do you have any family nearby? If you're just stuck for some activities try to get your kids to help with things around the house. Kids love feeling grown-up. Make sure you try to keep positive (it's hard, I know, but you have to remember they're only kids) Think of games you can play that don't cost money, hide and seek, IT, going for walks and picking flowers, finding certain insects, butterflies, caterpillars, going to a park. Don't forget that children need exercise, so a walk won't kill them even if they complain (I don't have a car, refuse to have one, I think it makes you lazy!) If you make everything seem like an adventure your kids may be happier. Children respond much better to praise than they do criticism!

  14. different answers depending on your circumstances.

    1. take kids for a walk, collect different flowers and then press them in a book

    2. fill the bath tub with water, and get on your suits and pretend you are at the beach, add music, drinks in fun cups, and have a blast.

    3. have a picnic, back yard, down the street, where ever

    4. do art projects and then display them on the street

  15. get a job

  16. nothing but get a job. haha you canrt buy a car with no money... Hey sell your computer!

  17. Veronica -

Wow. I am amazed by some of the comments on this page. People dont know you but still they are a little harsh.

Here are a couple different things to do:

Get assistance - even the state provides assistance for daycares. Start there, then once you get the assistance for daycare start looking for a job that is within the public transportation area. If it takes too long to get the assistance before the job. Start looking online and calling people about jobs as soon as possible. If you have family try to lean on them for childcare. I would try looking at your local grocery store. The ones where I live are always hiring.

  18. wow you sound like my mom um you could get a job... ~ xoxo ally*
