What can i do with this crystalized ginger?

it's sweet, dehydrated ginger, and i don't know what to use it in. recipes please, and thank you : )

  1. you can use it in anything that requires ginger (it just won't have the same texture obviously) I like to throw it into a hot cup of tea and I also bake w/it.


  2. It's great in gingerbread or ginger cookies.  Just chop it very small and add it to the recipe. It has a strong flavor though so beware. Add only 2 or 3 tablespoons to the recipe.  You can also just eat it! I love to eat crystallized ginger. They sell it covered in chocolate in many chocolate boxes.

  3. Um...eat it? It's supposed to be like candy, dewd!

  4. Throw it any recipes for cookies, fruit bars or pies.  It can be nice in denser foods, like stews.
