What can i feed a venus flytrap?

You can get them at any greenhouse or nursery.

They're hard to keep alive though. Wal-Mart has them on occasion.

There's a crappy carnivorous plant coliseum/dome planter kit on Amazon you could also get. But, it takes, like, 5 years for them to grow to size

flies or beetles the best, if they're not available small ill behaviored children will work.

is it a man eating fly trap? if so feed it some small children till its big enough for adults

the most important guideline when you are feeding your Venus fly trap is to only give it food that it can find in the wild. Things like insects, spiders, crickets and ants are perfect for the Venus fly trap. You want to stay away from foods like hamburger or hot dog or ham. These types of food, that we may think are good for the fly trap, can kill the plant in a matter of days or weeks.
