What can i feed my new chick?

i just got a baby chicken and i don't know what to feed it. i know you can feed it veggies but i don't know what kind of veggies.. plz help me.

  1. firstly

    you don't feed a young chick veggies.

    you feed it chick-crumbs or

    in an emergency boiled or scrambled eggs mashed up

    But you have to get chick-crumbs or chick starter

    also only give a tiny amount of water so it doesn't drown.

    also the chick must be kept WARM at all times until he is around 6 weeks. then you can lowly wean him off the heat.

      


  2. You dont feed it veggies. You can when they are older but they are too young. Go to the Tractor Supply Store and buy some Chick Starter. Feed them that until they are 2-3 months old. Then tthey need to start to eat scratch corn feed.

    Whent they are 3 months you can feed them some veggies. Mine ea

    Tomatoes, Romane lettuce(no Iceburg, thats bad), watermelon, cucumber, and peices of bread
