What can i get a work colleague for her engagement?

ive never been to an engagement before and the couple in question are in their forties and have both been married before so i was just looking for suggestions of what i could get them as a celebratory gift :) thanks x*x

make them a basket with a wine bottle and 2 glasses. Throw in some cheese and crackers. It will be a beautiful and simple gift!

From my experience you don't really give a gift for an engagement. If you are attending an engagement party, I would bring some wine and give a toast!

Or give them a wedding planning book.

How about a portrait voucher? Or if that's too expensive a nice bottle of wine or organic food hamper - you could put one together yourself.
