  1. First, let me say that these are subjects every college student has to take as core requirements for a degree.  We want our graduates to be well rounded and that is why you will find some classes that you have no idea why you are taking them.

Having said that, you may find that you enjoy pyschology and may decide to become a psychologist.  In sociology, you may find you like learning about how and why humans do the things they do, and you might become an anthropologist.  As for English Lit, well, it can show you how people felt about issues in different era's.  For example, Kate chopin and Toni Morrison both wrote about the oppression of women, mainly African American women, but they wrote at least 100 years apart.  It is interesting to see how they handle the situation differently.

  2. You could pursue in law, advertising, drama, psychology, teaching, english literature or language, etc. There are a lot of opportunities available to you, just research them and good luck. Most of these will require further education in university.

  3. Well you can be....

    ~Psychologist

    ~Sociologist

    ~Child psychology

    ~English lit teacher

    ~Psychology teacher

    ~Sociology teacher

~You can work in hospitals or care homes or youth clubs as a psychologist

EDIT: A comment on the 2nd answer... You cant get a career in Law unless you Study LAW in college.

I am doing Law, Psychology and Sociology. Thats how you can get into a psy-law job

  4. In English literature, you not only read proper grammar and sentence structure, you hear some very interesting, timeless stories that help you sort out what life is about. In sociology, you learn about groups of people and what they do. This is about us, so it's very relevant and will help you to understand people better. Psychology deals with individuals, their personalities and traits. It's science, basically, but the science of how people act. A lot of people find the initial courses in psych very interesting. All these courses will help you become a better educated, more well-rounded person who will be less sure of your own ideas and more willing to learn--which is a very good thing!!
