i was in a bicycle accident two years ago delivering papers for my local newspaper company when the tote bag carrying the papers got caught in my front wheel causing me to flip forward. i landed in the street, knocking me unconscience. I was escorted to the hospital where i awoke a day later. The insurance company attached to the newspaper company paid for everything...gas, medical bills, pills, everything. they also gave me workers comp., although it only totaled 793 dollars, which seemed low to me. But now i come home from work to read the paper and i see a picture of a boy riding his bike and the caption says "would you like to get paid for riding your bicycle?" my parents found out after my accident that a small tag on the inside of the bag says "do not wear while biking" can i take legal action with this?

  1. Your parents may have signed a paper which would give up your right to sue later if you accepted full payment for all medical costs and workers compensation two years ago.

What are your losses or damages that are still unpaid?  For what damage would you sue for recovery at this point?

    For details, consult your attorney.

  2. You can write to your newspaper; maybe they will run a story about it.

I'm not sure what you can do about it, otherwise.  If you can find other paper carriers who have been hurt because they've worn their bag while biking, you can launch a class action suit, perhaps.  You'd do best to consult a few attorneys, to get better legal advice.
