  1. Pick some of your favorite foods, at the restaurants you love, and then try to recreate them at home. Many of these you will be able to find online. Others you will be able to ask the manager at the restaurant for the recipe and usually they will give it to you, upon request.

Here is a recipe for something easy and delicious.

    Boneless Pork Chops

4 extra thin pork loin chops (boneless)

    1/8 cup olive oil

1/4 cup white wine (do not use a sweet wine)

    2 tbls. butter

    1/2 cup mushrooms

    thyme

    parsley

    white pepper

Sprinkle thyme, parsley, and white pepper on chops. Put oil and butter in pan on medium high heat. Once butter is melted, add chops, and brown both sides. Add mushrooms and turn down heat to medium. Add wine. Turn down heat to low and continue cooking for 5 minutes. Turn over chops and cover. Turn down heat to simmer. Leave on simmer for 5-10 minutes, or until wine has reduced. Serve over pasta, or rice, or with your choice of side dish. Serves 2-4.

  2. look for some of your favorite recipes from restaurants on the internet.  for instance I make applebees mashed potatoes and outbacks brown bread...they are not exact recipes but they are pretty close and my husband and I love it.

  3. Any vegetarian dish are easy to make at home, and taste just as good! Especially Morning Star Farms products.

  4. There are lots of things you could make. But if you really enjoy eating out, I would suggest taking some of your favorite things to have at your favorite reasturant, and put your own twist on the recipes.

  5. i never eat out as i have a phobia of other people preparing my food lol i know it sounds silly but it is a real disorder so i what i do i just go to allrecipes.com its a review based site or go to topsecertrecipes.com they have recipes from the resturants like panda express pizza hut tgif's applebees chilis anyways that my answer go to the sites

  6. Steak frite!!  Season filet mignon w/salt & pepper.  Pan fry in olive oil.  Then cut up some potatoes.  Make your own fries.  Then have a green salad on the side.  With a glass of "house red" you just made yourself a bistro dinner!

  7. I cook a lot at home, but it HAS to be simple, but we eat restaurant qualty food. Here's one that's pretty incredible.

    For two people.

Two swordfish steaks, or any firm flesh fish.

Blitz two rounds of bread into crumbs.

Oil a flat cooking tin. Place fish on. Sprinkle a few breadcrumbs on to JUST cover thinly. Sprinkle on some parsely, crushed garlic, and seasoning (all optional). Sprinkle remainding breadcrumbs. Drizzle with olive oil.

Cook in Med oven or covered BBQ for 10 minutes.

Absolutely delicious. Better than any you've ever had.

  8. this is great.  get  that Caesar bag salad in wal-mart add croutons and Parmesan  cheese cracked pepper and  only   the traditional roast chicken in the wal-mart deli, the ones that are roasting before your eyes add your favorite Caesar dressing and some bread sticks if you don' use crouton.

that's all folks.  if you don't eat chicken you can  add shrimp

  9. curry

  10. get boneless skinless chicken b*****s and cut into chunks. flash fry them in very hot oil and then toss them with "hoisin" sauce (not sure if i spelled it right, but you can find it with the Asian food on the ethnic aisle -Wal Mart has it for sure), soy sauce and a touch of honey- add sesame seeds if you wish. cook a bag of minute rice and steam some broccoli. you'll have an at home Chinese food meal. you can even get the pre made fortune cookies on the same aisle! Or for something easier, get a good quality ground beef and season it very well, grill it on a foreman grill or even broil in the oven. put it on a really good quality bun with an exotic cheese and lots of fresh veggies for a "gourmet" burger like at the restaurants.

It definatley pays to buy groceries and cook at home. I LOVE to eat out, but you save so much cooking for yourself, and the more you do it, the better you get!
